So far this Summer we have not set foot on the beach. I know - how pathetic is that??!! So today we went. It was glorious. We built sandcastles, swam & had lunch at the surfclub. We basically just chilled. My idea of bliss. There was the merest hint of a lagoon for the mittens to paddle about in and the water was crystal clear. You know how usually when you go to get in it takes a while because it is waaaaaaaay too cold? Not today. It was perfect.
