Beauties of the Golden Globes 2014

Hands down my favourite of the night was Australian actress Margot Robbie!

Exquisite in white bejewelled Gucci and Van Cleef & Arpels snowflake diamond earrings and Van Cleef & Arpels diamond ring.  I thought she looked fresh and modern which is exactly how a young starlet should look.  I am loving the way her gorgeous cool blonde hair is swept to the side in a simple chignon!  Did I mention that she was my favourite?  Cannot wait to see the 'Wolf of Wall Street' and for that matter 'Blue Jasmine' which stars Cate Blanchett.

Regal Australian actress Cate Blanchett was another favourite.  Next time I have a function to go to I am going to ask my hairdresser to re-create this look for me. Perhaps with a little more hairspay...

How elegant is Cate's hair from this side view?  This hairstyle perfectly shows off her amazingly beautiful Chopard marquise cut diamond earrings.  Refined elegance at it's best.

To be honest most of the gowns underwhelmed me.  But the one that caught my eye was worn by American actress Kerry Washington.

What a beautiful silhouette for pregnancy. This Balenciaga gown made me think of something you might like to wear to a glamorous sixties affair!

Jessica Chastain is exquisitely beautiful.  You can tell she has kept out of the sun's harmful rays when she was growing up.  That skin!  That hair!  My 5 year old has this coloured hair and maybe I am biased but I think that red heads are the most beautiful of all!  However I will always love this woman's style too - Diane Keaton.

She sure can teach a lot of the youngies out there a thing or two about ageing gracefully.

The Beach

I love spending the Christmas Holidays at North Burleigh.

I feel at peace when I am by the ocean.

It heals the soul.

Wish I could stay......
