Green walled garden - a work in progress

Lady of the Lake
Here are some snapshots of our outdoor room.  My plan is to have the ficus completely cover the fence so that I am surrounded by walls of green.  I am getting excited as it inches closer to the Lady of the Lake.

View of wall
I think this view will look so much better covered in greenery don't you?

Pink speckled eggs

pink speckled eggs
I have recently discovered the Bed, Bath & Table store. Thank you Chateau de lille for the tip! I had no idea they had so much great stuff.  Their Easter goodies are nothing short of gorgeous.  Seriously you have to go there & check it out.

The mittens & I usually get up to a few crafty things closer to Easter like decorating baskets & stuff.  I found these pink speckled eggs.  How cute are they??  They also come in a lime kind of colour.......

A Oui Bit of Red

My new Ecco shoes & a Oui Bit of Red
I am sure that I have told you that my favourite colour is red.  Closely followed by pink.  Anyhow I have got a major obsession with gorgeous glossy painted nails at the moment.  Fingers and Toes.  The other day I had a craving for Red.  So good old Opi came to the rescue with A Oui Bit of Red.  It is the perfect shade for my skin tone.
I also got these new Ecco shoes. Sooooooo comfortable.  They look a bit like birkenstocks don't they?  Well as far as this type of footwear is concerned they are quite glam when you see them in the flesh.  They seem to work well for our extemely mild Autumn in Queensland whilst doing "mummy" type running around.

My short polished nails
Yes it's a bit blurry, but it is hard taking a photo of your own fingers let me tell you!  The other things that I am craving for coming into Winter are gold accessories, pops of colour, blank onyx and leopard ballet flats............  What is your favourite red nail polish?

My Green Bags

Close up of boy & girl picking fruit
I really like to use my green bags as much as possible and do my thing for the planet in my little corner of the world.  We all should really, it is not hard or anything.  Plastic bags are horrid things.

These are a couple of my favourites.  I love this fruity one.  It reminds of another era when things were much simpler and 'gay-er'.  People always ask me where I got it from.  I really have no idea as it was a gift from Granny Annie.

My grocery bags
Do you use green bags?  And if so, what is your favourite?

There is only one eye make up remover

L'Oreal Gentle Make-Up Remover for Eyes & Lips
The one.  The only.  Quite seriously there is no other.  Make sure you buy the one which you shake up, not the other one.  One of my beauty must-haves.

I Don't Like It!

image from decoratingforum.com.au

So the other day Mitten 2 and I came into the bathroom whilst Daddy was just finishing his shaving.

Daddy only had a towel wrapped around his waist.  He reached up his arm to get something and Mitten 2 got a look at his underarm hair and exclaimed "Daddy what's that?"

Daddy's six pack is not exactly like this.......but you get the picture

She said " I don't like it!"

You see she probably only ever sees Daddy in his Rashie in the pool and at the beach.

We are still laughing. "I DON'T LOIKE IT!!!!!"

Oscar looks I love

Kelly Osborne in Casadei

Sharon Stone in Dior

Reese Witherspoon
Reese Witherspoon in Armani Prive

Kelly and Sharon both sported some serious 60's beehives, while Reese did a gorgeous 60's pony.  I have always been a fan of BIG HAIR.  I remember being at a girlfriends wedding years ago, and I had fabulously big hair for that.  The groom later told me he kept focusing on my hair when his nerves got the better of him up at the altar! I think I was sitting somewhere in the back half of the church.  How hilarious is that! I know these are not necessarily the best shots taken of Kelly & Shazza but it was all I could come up with.  Trust me they both looked gorgeous. Here is a better close up of Reese.
2011 Academy Awards - Oscars After-Parties - Reese Witherspoon and Michelle Williams
